OBITUARY:
James VanZandt Knowles, age 86, of Poseyville, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at Allison Healthcare in
Poseyville.
 He was born September 22, 1919, to Forman and Grace Buckland Knowles.
 He graduated from Owensville High School in 1937, retired from Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville after 27 years and enjoyed antiques and playing music.  He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Poseyville.
 He was preceded in death by his father, Forman Knowles; his mother; Grace Knowles; and his wife,
Lucille Redman Knowles.
 Surviving are his sons, Michael (Patty) Knowles of Poseyville, and Dennis V. Knowles of Cynthiana;
granddaughters, Angela (Chad) Seaton of Evansville, and Tricia Knowles of New Harmony; grandson, Jason
Knowles of Poseyville; sister, Mary Knowles of Washington; and great-grandson, Brady Seaton of Evansville.
 Funeral services were Friday, February 24, at Werry Funeral Home - Poseyville Chapel, the Rev. Don
Cline officiating, with burial in Antioch Cemetery in Cynthiana.  Memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Cemetery.
