Mrs. Elizabeth Fenneman

 Mrs. Elizabeth Fenneman a highly respected and well-known old lady of near Duff, Ind., departed this life Wednesday July 31, at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 9 days, after a lingering illness of about one year as a result of a paralytic stroke.
 Her maiden name was Elizabeth Lammers.  She was a native of Ladbergen, Kreis Tecklenburg, Prussia, Germany, where she was born Feb. 22, 1837, and grew to womanhood.  She united in marriage with Adolph Fenneman, shortly prior to ther emmigration to this country in 1869, when they settled in the vicinity where she died.  Her husband preceded her in death September 24, 1887.
 She was the mother of 10 children, four of who preceded her in death while quite young.  The surviving children are Henry, John and Mary Fenneman of near Duff, Mrs. Martin Steinkamp and Mrs. Aug. Doettker of Holland and Mrs. John J. Feldmeyer of this vicinity.
 She was a real Christian woman, an affectionate mother, and with a kind and cheerful disposition of all who knew her.
 Whe was an act of member of the St. Pauls church of near Holland, at which place funeral services and interment took place Friday forenoon, August 2.
