Joseph L. Hodlin
 Joseph L. Hodlin, 57, of Garfield Road, East Nassau, N.Y., died at his home last night.
 A native of Pittsfield, he had lived in East Nassau for many years and was self-employed as a roofer.
 Mr. Holdin leaves his wife, the former Lillian Harris, three sons, Raymond W. Brazie of Hawkers Island, N.C., and James J. and John W. Brazie of East Nassau; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Bartlett of Richmond and Mrs. William Losaw of Pittsfield; a brother, Walter F. Hodlin of Pittsfield; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Verity of Patchogue, N.Y., Mrs. Beatrice Burton of Pittsfield and Mrs. Gertrude Nellis of Rochester, N.Y., and three grandchildren.
 Calling hours at the Newton-Barnfather Funeral Home are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.  The funeral will be Friday afternoon at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery.

 Services for Joseph L. Hodlin were held this afternoon at the Wellington Funeral Home.  The Rev. Merlen C. Levering of the First Methodist Church, officiated.  Burial was in Pittsfield Cemetery.  Bearers were Joseph F. Hodlin, Frank M. Hornyak, Edson B. Croshier, Clifford E. Williams, Harry J. McGovern and Calvin David.

Mrs. Bredenberg Dies at 96; Rites Thursday
 Mrs. Emma J. Bredenberg, 96, widow of Alfred Bredenberg of 28 Meadow Lane died last night at her home following a long illness.
 A native of Morris, N.Y., Mrs. Bredenberg was born June 14, 1860, daughter of Samuel and Emily Richardson Phillips, and was educated in the schools there.  For many years she was a dressmaker in that town and taught sewing in the Industrial School in Middletown, Conn. for a long period.  She came to Pittsfield to make her home in 1950.  Mrs. Bredenberg was an active member of the First Methodist Church and belonged to the WSCS.
 Survivors are a niece Mrs. Walter I. Ringie and a nephew Willis J. Hodlin, both of this city.
 Funeral services will be held at the Wellington Funeral Home Thursday afternoon.  Burial will be in the Main Street Cemetery, Dalton.
 The family will meet friends at the funeral home tomorrow evening from 7 to 9.

HODLIN, Charles
 Charles Hodlin, 75, of Riverside St, Portland, beloved husband of Louise (Taylor) Kilpatrick Hodlin, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family Thursday (July 17, 2003) at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown.  He was born in Gloversville, NY, Feb. 6, 1928, son of the late John A. and Emma (Price) Hodlin and had resided in Portland since 1974.  Prior to his illness he was employed by Noel's Supermarket, Colchester.  Charles was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing.  He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Gregory Hodlin of New York, William H. Kilpatrick of Marlborough, NH; five daughters, Elizabeth K. Barrett of Lebanon, Shirley K. House of Oquossoc, ME, Wink Kristeller of Baldwinsville, NY, Marjorie A. Kilpatrick of Canon, GA, Patricia K. Michaud of Shrewsberry, VT; two sisters, Muriel Egnell and Lillian Peters both of Northville, NY; 30 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.  Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main St., East Hampton TODAY 2-4 p.m.  The funeral service will be held Sunday, 1 p.m. at the Spencer Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas D. HODLIN, Louise Kilpatrick
 Louise Kilpatrick Hodlin, 88, passed away peacefully Sunday, (September 21, 2008) at Harrington Court Nursing Home in Colchester, surrounded by her family. Alice Louise Taylor was born in Newbergh NY, May 10, 1920 she was the daughter of the late William J. and Sara Alice (Taggart) Taylor. She attended school in Newbergh and moved to Cobalt in 1941 with her husband William H. Kilpatrick. Following his death in 1948, she raised her six children alone. She married Ernest Gatty in 1963. Following his death in 1964, she was employed as a waitress, did housekeeping and worked as a sewing machine operator at a garment factory. She married Charles Hodlin in August of 1974. Charles idolized her and gave her some of the happiest days of her life, until his death in 2003. Louise enjoyed spending time with her large family and many friends. She is survived by her six children Elizabeth K. Barrett, Shirley K. House, ''Wink'' Kristeller, Marjorie A. Kilpatrick, Patricia K. Sucharski and William H. Kilpatrick Jr., many grand children, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and two great nephews. Besides her parents and husbands she was predeceased by her three brothers Harold Taylor, Raymond Taylor, and Warren Taylor, and one grandson Eric Kristeller. Louise's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Harrington Court for the excellent care and love shown to our mother.
 Funeral services will be held Tuesday Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. in the Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main St. East Hampton, with the Rev. Jonathan Liebich officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home TODAY from 6-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
