Robert G. Anthony
Rouses Point - Robert G. Anthony, 67, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born in Rouses Point on Feb. 20, 1935, the son of Herman and Mildred (Aubrey) Anthony.
Robert was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1962. He was employed at the D&H Railroad as a car man and supervisor from 1953 to 1984. He was a member of the American Legion Post 912 and St. Patrick's Church. He enjoyed doing auto body repair and doing craft works. He also enjoyed his winter trips to Phoenix, Ariz.
Robert is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rose (Campbell) Anthony, whom he married Oct. 11, 1958; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy Anthony of Plattsburgh, Scott and Michelle Anthony of Rouses Point, Arthur and Rhonda Anthony of Franklin, Vt.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Sheridan (Ted) Tedford, Robin and Larry Manor and Barbara and Garry Manor, all of Champlain and Gail and Brad Martin of Rouses Point; nine grandchildren, Melissa Anthony, Teddy and Jennifer Tedford, Cory and Erica Ballantine, Timothy and Eric Manor, Dustin Manor and Ashley Martin; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patrick and Patricia Tardif of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sandra Faulkner of Phoenix, Ariz.; several sisters and brothers-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
His parents and his mother and father-in-law died earlier.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point.
Memorial donations may be made to the Rouses Point Fire Department or the American Heart Association.
The E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Champlain is in charge of arrangements.

George A. Aubrey
ROUSES POINT - George Adrian Aubrey, 74, died at his home at 47 Rose Ave., Rouses Point, Friday, July 19, 1985.
He was born in Rouses Point on Oct. 21, 1911, the son of George and Grace (Robare) Aubrey.
He was a meat cutter for Jefferson's IGA for several years, and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy in the European theater. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion of Rouses Point and and [sic] past member of the Rouses Point Fire Department.
He is survived by one son, William of Rouses Point; one Brother, Charles A. of Rouses Point; one sister, Mrs. Voila Anthony of Scottsdale, Ariz., and two grandchildren.
Calling hours will be at the Clark Funeral Home in Rouses Point from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be at noon Monday in St. Patrick's Church, with burial in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Adrian Aubrey
Rouses Point - Mrs. Elizabeth (Bessie) Aubrey, 54, of 26 State St., died Tuesday at Champlain Valley Hospital, Plattsburgh.
She had been a postal clerk at the Rouses Point Post Office for the last 19 years.
Mrs. Aubrey was born Oct. 3, 1911, at St. John's Que., a daughter of William and Mary (Parker) Don.
She is survived by her husband, Adrian, and a son, William Gary, both of Rouses Point.
Calling hours at the Clark Funeral Home here are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 in St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in the Parish cemetery.

Miss Bessie Dun, of St. Johns, Que., and Adrian Aubrey, son of Mrs. and Mrs. George Aubrey, of Rouses Point, were united in marriage in Dannemora, N.Y., on Wednesday, July 12th, Rev. Father Booth performing the ceremony.
Mrs. Aubrey will continue her duties in St. Johns, where she is a stenographer for the Columbian Match Co. Mr. Aubrey is employed at Belair's Market in Rouses Point. Both are popular in their home communities.
