Jeffery A. CAIN

OBITUARY:
 Jeffery A. “Hippy” Cain, 63, of Walker, WV, lost his battle with cancer on Oct. 18, 2019. He was preceeded in death by his parents Wilber & Edna Cain of Parkersburg WV, and 5 brothers & sisters.
 He is survived by his wife of 39 years Rhonda Cain.
 He also survived by his two brothers, Donald Cain (Nesta) of Parkersburg WV and David Cain of Okeechobee, FL; two sisters Linda Cain Prince and Jenny Cain Boeshait (Paul) both of Newark, OH. Step-daughter Lori Fluharty, 3 grandsons & 4 great grandchildren.
 Jeff worked with children most his life at the Boys & Girls Club of Parkersburg and at Pressley Ridge School (home for troubled youth) in Walker, WV.
 Jeff was a avid outdoorsman who enjoyed adventure sports, caving, repelling (150 drop off New River Gorge Bridge), backpacking, kayaking and hunting with his great friends Buckie Hickel, Kenny George & Jeff Gainer.
 At his request his body was donated to WVU, in hope to help others.
 There will be a celebration of life on November 29 at Ben Bey Grotto on Spider Ridge Rd. Parkersburg, WV from 4 to 8 p.m.

 Dorothy D. Santee
  Dorothy Deems Santee, 85, of Parkersburg died quietly at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Oct. 22, 2004.
  She was born at Eatons, Ritchie County, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Ethel C. Joy Deems.
  Mrs. Santee was a homemaker and had worked 25 years as a cook at Boreman Elementary School, where she made several life long friends.
  She is survived by two sons, James E. Santee and wife, Pat, and Gary A. Santee and wife, Marie, all of Parkersburg; three daughters, Nancy Santee Caltrider, Carolyn Sue Mackey and Barbara Jane Payne and husband, Leroy, all of Parkersburg; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Santee of Parkersburg; five sisters, Garnet Wilson and Mary Whitecotton, both of Parkersburg, Evelyn Stout and Myrtle Wenmoth, both of Vienna, and Elizabeth Corvin of Sandusky, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Howard P. Santee, in 1967; one son, Kenneth P. Santee; two grandsons, Kevin P. Witt and Michael W. Santee; one great-grandson, Jeremy A. Hess; seven sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. John W. Frum officiating. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
  Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.

 Mary "Mickey" Whitecotton, 83, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Nov. 6, 2006, at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home.
 She was born July 7, 1923, in Eatons, W.Va., a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Ethel Joy Deems. She was a homemaker and a member of Vienna Baptist Church.
 She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Lambert and her husband, Fred, of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and Pam Young and her husband, John, of Vienna, W.Va.; two granddaughters, Terry Lambert and Tracie Leffel, both of Vienna, W.Va.; and grandson, Mike Lambert and his wife, Anita, of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; four great grandsons, Alex, Brad and wife Ashley, and Justin Lambert and Seth Leffel; and four sisters, Garnet Wilson, Myrtle Wenmoth, Evelyn Stout and Elizabeth Corvin.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gerald Whitecotton in 2003; one granddaughter; eight sisters; and two brothers.
 Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006 at Evergreen South Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. William R. Thomas officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va.
