OBITUARY:
On Friday, February 16, 2024, Debra (Debbie) Marie Jackson (Sabin) passed away at the age of 64. Debbie was born in Niagara Falls, NY to Mathew and Evelyn Sabin. After graduating from Niagara-Wheatfield High School in 1977, she received a degree from the University of Buffalo. She was a business administrator for multiple companies and took great pride in her work. She enjoyed spending time on the farm with her husband, Jerry, where they built their dream home. They grew fruits, and vegetables, and had an abundance of animals. They created a place for children and families to come and pick the fresh fruits and enjoy the farm animals.
Growing up, Debbie enjoyed sports and was an avid volleyball player. She especially loved watching her grandchildren play sports and she would always be the first one to arrive at the game. No matter the distance, she made it a point to watch her granddaughters play basketball. She always prioritized her family and loved getting everyone together for holiday celebrations. She was dearly loved and will be truly missed by her family and friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Mathew Samuel Sabin and Evelyn Naomi Sabin (Robert). Debbie is survived by her husband, Jerry Jackson, her two children, Charles and Derek, her two stepchildren, Katrina and Kimberly, her sister, Nancy Huntsman, and her brother, Mark Sabin. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, with her first great-grandchild on the way. She has many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends who will miss her dearly.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:
