GEORGE YENNE - is one of the most energetic and prosperous of the residents of Grant district, Wetzel county, West Virginia, where he combines the avocations of farmer, blacksmith and wagon manufacturer. He was born in Tuscarawas county, Ohio, December 17, 1840, and was but six years old when his parents, Henry and Rachel (Renneker) Yenne, made their home in Wetzel county. He enlisted in the 1861 war, as a member of Company C, 14th Indiana Infantry, and after serving five months and eleven days was discharged on accounty [sic] of illness contracted after entering the army. His first wife, whom he married October 19, 1862, was Elizabeth Eckelberry, and their children were: Richard E., born September 5, 1863; Samuel J., August 16, 1865; Sarah C., December 12, 1867; George E., January 9, 1871, died April 10, 1872; James E. Mc., April 28, 1873, died August 28, 1881; Palmyra F. C., October 23, 1875 - all the living children are at home. In Wetzel county, December 20, 1882, George M. Yenne wedded Sophia (Fluharty) (Robinson), who is a daughter of Henry and Sarah (Eddy) Fluharty, residents in Wetzel county since 1845. She was born when they were living in Marion county, Virginia, September 25, 1833. George M. Yenne's post office address is Pine Grove, Wetzel county, West Virginia.

Mrs. Sophia Ann Mulvey died at the home of her son yesterday eveing at 5:30 after several years illness. She had mad her home with her son, Thomas Owen Mulvey of 1615 Pearcy avenue.
Mrs. Mulvey is survived by one son, Thomas Owen Mulvey of Parkersburg; three sisters, Mrs. Charity Bell of Elizabeth, W. Va., Mrs. Charles Foutty of Mansfield, Ohio; Mrs. Frank Bell, Hollidays Cove, W. Va. and three brothers, James Fluharty of Elizabeth, W. Va., Elmore Fluharty of Elizabeth, and Henry Fluharty of Roseville, Ohio.

Elmore H. Fluharty, 79, died Saturday morning at 2:30 o'clock at his home on Elizabeth, Route 2.
A son of late Lewis and Mary Fluharty, he was a member of the Big Island Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Fluharty, July 8 1910.
Surviving are one son, Harry Fluharty of Elizabeth, six daughters, Mrs. Otsie Morris of Clarksburg, Mrs. Alice Steel of Center Belpre, Ohio, Mrs. Anna Watson of Elizabeth, Route 2, Miss Nina Fluharty, at home, Mrs. Mae Beatty of Parkersburg and Mrs Ruth Elliot of Elizabeth; two brohters, J. W. and H. J. Fluharty; two sisters, Mrs. Ninnie Bell and Mrs. Addie Foutty; 27 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Big Island Baptist Church with the Rev. W. C. Shepherd and the Rev. Edward Hutchinson of Elizabeth officiating. Burial was made in the Church Cemetery.
The body was moved from the Pomroy Funeral Home in Elizabeth to the late residence Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock.

Mrs. Minnie Bell
Mrs. Minnie (Grandma) Bell, 77, resident of Haller Park, died this morning at four-thirty o'clock at her home after being seriously ill for four days.
Born in Elizabeth, W. Va., in July 7, 1873 she was married to Frank Bell. Mr. Bell preceded her in death in 1929. Mrs. Bell was a member of Big Island Run Baptist church and affilliated with the Salvation Army church of Weirton.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Bernard Steegman, Findley, Ohio, two sons, Bob, Findley, Ohio; Raymond, Weirton; one sister, Addie Foutty, Mansfield, Ohio; two brothers, James Fluharty, Elizabeth, W. Va.; Henry Fluharty, are eleven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the Salvation Army Chapel with Captain Daniel Biggs and Lieut. Kenneth Lance in charge. Burial will be in the Three Springs cemetery. Friends are being received at the late home at Haller Park. Arrangements are in in charge of the Steel and Wolfe funeral home.
