Jane Parker Gagne, 70, of 5 Kimberly Ave., Turners Falls, died Monday at Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. She was a cook at the University of Massachusetts, and retired in 1996. She was previously a cook at the Linden Hill School in Northfield. Born in Mont Vernon, N.H., she attended schools in Northfield and Milford, N.H. She belonged to the Greenfield Moose Club and the Ladies Benevolent Society of Northfield Farms, and was active in area singles clubs. She leaves her husband, Alphonse Gagne at home; a son, Andrew Garello of Sturbridge; a daughter, April Parker Rapelye of Northfield; a niece, Jean ("Susie") Vaine of North Carolina, whom she raised; a brother, Win J. Nichols of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Doris Boggis of Nashua, N.H.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A calling hour will precede the funeral Thursday morning at Kidder Funeral Home, with the burial in Farms Cemetery, both at Northfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Hospice, 164 High St., Greenfield, 01301.

  TURNERS FALLS - Jane Parker Gagne, 70, of 5 Kimberly Ave., a university cook, died yesterday in Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield.
 She leaves her husband, Alphonse Gagne; a son, Andrew Garello of Sturbridge; a daughter and a niece whom she raised; a brother and sister; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was born in Mont Vernon, N.H., and attended school in Northfield.
 Mrs. Gagne worked as a cook at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and at Linden Hill School in Northfield, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Greenfield Moose Club and the Ladies Benevolent Society of Northfield Farms. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, playing cards and crafts.
 The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Kidder Funeral Home, 1 Parker Ave., Northfield. Burial will be in Farms Cemetery, Northfield. The calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Franklin County, 164 High St., Greenfield, MA 01301.

Ronald C. Hutchinson
 Ronald C. Hutchinson, 46, of Elizabeth, passed away Friday, March 4, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.
 Born in Wood County, he was the son fo the late Chester Joe and Lena Watkins Hutchinson.  He attended Big Island Run Methodist Church.  He was a member of Laborers Local 1085 and was employed by Carl Kelly Paving.
 Surviving is his wife, Drenda Bumgarner Hutchingson; two sons, Jason Cash and wife, Angela, and Justin Craig; a daughter, Trena Rae Carpenter and husband, Nathan, all of Elizabeth; two brothers, Daniel Hutchinson of Parkersburg and the Rev. Billy Hutchinson of Richwood, WV.
 He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and David.

OBITUARY:
 Carrie Jo Spears, 38, of Walker, WV, passed away on June 25, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
 She was born December 12, 1978, in Wood County, a daughter of Karen Fluharty Richards (Steve Morrison) of Walker and the late Terry Spears.
 She was a bartender at Bob and Jane's formerly Ted and Joyce's in Walker. She was a 1997 graduate of Wirt County High School.
 In addition to her mother she is survived by one daughter, Samantha Cain, a student at Marshall University in Huntington, WV; two sisters, Amanda Spears (Nathan Moler) of Petroleum, WV, and Julie Jones (Shane) of Walker; her maternal grandmother, Thelma Fluharty of Walker; and several nieces and nephews.
 In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one daughter, Abbie Ferrell.
 Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Matt Hornbeck officiating, and family and friends eulogizing. Interment will follow at Pine Twist Cemetery in Wirt County, WV. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

 Abigail DeAnn Ferrell, infant daughter of Carrie Spears Ferrell and Donald Ferrell of Walker, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at the Carolina Medical Center of Charlotte, N.C.
 Born March 10, 2002, she is survived by a sister, Samantha Jo Cain; half-sisters Hanna Dawn Ferrell and Cheyene Kirl both of Parkersburg; paternal grandparents, Robert Bruce and Oma Ann Ferrell of Ellenboro, W.Va.; maternal great-grandmother Thelma Fluharty of Walker.
 She was preceded in death by maternal great grandfather Paul Fluharty.
 Services were Saturday at Matheny Pomroy Funeral Home with Re. [sic] Charlene Spaur officiating.  Burial was in the Pine Twist Cemetery.
