Gerald C. Aubrey
Palm Bay, Fla. - Gerald C. (Donald) Aubrey, 78, of 1250 Joy Ct., NE, Palm Bay, Fla., formerly of Rouses Point, died on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at the Mariner Health of Atlantic Shores Nursing Home in Palm Bay.
 He was born in Plattsburgh on Oct. 22, 1924, the son of Clement and Laura (Anthony) Aubrey.
 Mr. Aubrey retired from the Albany, N.Y., police department after 27 years of service.  He enjoyed traveling, playing golf and deep sea fishing.
 He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1942-1945.  Seaman First Class Aubrey served in the Pacific on the USS Edwards and the USS Twining, under the command of Admiral "Bulldog" Halsey. He received 11 battle stars.
 Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Frechette; a son, Bobby of Arizona; a brother, Robert (Bob) Aubrey and his wife, Mary Ellen; two sisters, Bernice Sanchagrin and Carol Manor; one sister-in-law, Ethel of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
 He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Herman (Sonny) Aubrey.
 Arrangements are with the Fountain Head Memorial Park Funeral Home in Palm Bay.
 Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country.

Robert Raymond Aubrey
June 24, 2006
 ROUSES POINT — Robert Raymond Aubrey, 78, of Rouses Point, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
 He was born Oct. 12, 1927, in Rouses Point, the son of Clement and Laura (Anthony) Aubrey.  They predeceased him.
 Mr. Aubrey married Mary Ellen Kennedy, she survives.  In 1945 he entered the United States Army Air Force. He became a sergeant, and he was honorably discharged in 1949.  He was employed in Albany, N.Y., by the D & H Railroad, the United Traction Bus Company and the Tobin Meat Packing Company.  He retired in 1994 from the Capital District Transit Authority after 12 years of service as a Computer Mechanic in the Treasury Department and bus driver.  He was a member of the St. Patrick's Church and choir in Rouses Point. Mr. Aubrey was also a proud member of the American Legion Post 912 in Rouses Point.  He was a member of the Montgomery Rifle Squad, American Legion Rifle Squad and a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Rouses Point.
 In addition to his wife survivors include five children, Linda Aubrey of Rouses Point, Denise Sturgis and her husband Joseph of Loudonville, N.Y., Sandra Aubrey of Amersterdam, N.Y., Shelley Aubrey of Rensselaer, N.Y., and Richard R. Aubrey of Rensselaer, N.Y.; one sister, Carol Manor of Rouses Point; seven grandchildren, Stacy Maikels, Michael D. Aubrey, Joseph, Christina and Nicholas Sturgis, Robert A. Aubrey and Ashley M. Hadden; and three great-grandchildren.
 Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Sonny Aubrey; and one sister, Bernice Sanchagrin.
 Calling hours will be Sunday, June 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the M.B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home, 148 Lake St. in Rouses Point.
 A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rouses Point.
 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rouses Point Rescue Squad or American Legion Post 912 in Rouses Point.
 Arrangements are with the M.B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Rouses Point.

Roy L. Manor
 Champlain — Roy L. Manor, 64, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
 He was born in Ellenburg on April 10, 1935, the son of Albert and Leona (Rabideau) Manor.
 He was a veteran and served during the Korean War. He was employed as a production foreman for over 38 years at Wyeth-Ayerst in Rouses Point.
 He is survived by his wife, the former Doreen Saunders of Champlain; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Lawrence and Robin Manor of Champlain, Garry and Barbara Manor of Champlain and James Allen Manor of Champlain; a daughter and son-in-law, Lauria Ann and Kevin Cayea of Champlain; five grandsons; and a granddaughter.
 His parents and two brothers, Edward and Cyril Manor, died before him.
 There will be no calling hours. Private services will be held for the immediate family. Burial will be in St. Edmund's Cemetery in Ellenburg in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
 The E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot is in charge of arrangements.

George A. Aubrey
 ROUSES POINT - George Adrian Aubrey, 74, died at his home at 47 Rose Ave., Rouses Point, Friday, July 19, 1985.
 He was born in Rouses Point on Oct. 21, 1911, the son of George and Grace (Robare) Aubrey.
 He was a meat cutter for Jefferson's IGA for several years, and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy in the European theater.  He was a member of the VFW and American Legion of Rouses Point and and [sic] past member of the Rouses Point Fire Department.
 He is survived by one son, William of Rouses Point; one Brother, Charles A. of Rouses Point; one sister, Mrs. Voila Anthony of Scottsdale, Ariz., and two grandchildren.
 Calling hours will be at the Clark Funeral Home in Rouses Point from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.  Funeral services will be at noon Monday in St. Patrick's Church, with burial in the parish cemetery.

OBITUARY:
Mrs. Pearl M. Prairie
 PLATTSBURGH -- Mrs. Pearl M. Prairie, 73, of 1 Tarleton Ct., died in the CVPH Medical Center early Tuesday morning.  She was stricken at her residence.
 She was born in Rouses Point on June 18, 1902, the daughter of the late Henry and Laura (LaFountain) Aubrey.  She had made her home in this city for the past 55 years.
 She is survived by two sons, Armand Langevin of Champlain and Thomas Prairie of Plattsburgh; three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Albright of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Rita Shapiro of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Charles (Rena) O'Toole of Plattsburgh; four brothers, Thomas Aubrey of Rouses Point, Willard Aubrey of Rouses Point, Reni Aubrey of Plattsburgh, and Remi Aubrey of Toronto, Ont.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
 She was a member of American Legion Auxilliary Unit 20, Plattsburgh.
 Friends may call at the Brown Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Peter's Church.  Burial will be in the spring in the family plot in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rouses Point.
