 Thomas N. Joy, 84, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater.
 He was born in Elizabeth, W.Va., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Tampa.  He was a retired boilermaker, a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of Boilermakers Union No. 433, and attended Community Baptist Church.
 Survivors include two sons, Thomas Jr. of Chicago, Ill., and Norman of Virginia; a stepson, Eddy Rodriguez of Tampa; three daughters, Martha Bell of Elizabeth, Jean Wilson of Brooksville and Mary Tabler of South Carolina; two brothers, Arthur Joy of Cedar Grove, W.Va., and Cecil Joy of Washington, W.Va.; three sisters, Myrtle Younglove of Tampa, Rosella Nutter of Culloden, W.Va., and Ina of California; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Muriel Stockwell Egnell
 Muriel Stockwell Egnell, 82 of 312 Center Street, Northville, died Monday, December 11, 2006 at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility.  Muriel was born in Pittsfield, Mass. on February 8, 1924, the daughter of the late John and Emma Price Hodlin.  She was a 1942 graduate of Gloversville High School.  Muriel was employed by the Fulton County National Bank in Gloversville and later in Northville retiring in 1986.
 She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Steadfast Class.  She was also a member of the PTO and a homeroom mother while her children attended Northville Central School.  Throughout her life Muriel enjoyed reading, painting, playing bridge with friends, and spending time with her
family.
 Muriel and Joseph J. Stockwell were married on May 23, 1949, and were married for 35 years until the death of her husband on December 29, 1984.  Muriel was also predeceased by her former husband, Harold Egnell; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Carl and Mrs. Marie Moore; and 3 brothers, Mr. John Hodlin, Mr. Eugene Hodlin and Mr. Charles Hodlin.
 Survivors include her three daughters, Mrs. Janie Morrison and her husband David of Northville, Ms. Joanne (Torres) Stockwell, and her husband Courtenay Barber III of Falmouth, Mass., and Mrs. Deborah Zier Mullins, and her husband Gene of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Peters of Johnstown; 5 grandsons, Matthew S. Morrison and his wife Emily of Orland, Maine, Jesse E. Torres of Los Angeles, Calif., Joseph J. Torres of Dearborn, Michigan, Lance D. Zier and Gregory B. Zier, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; 2 great-granddaughters, Addie and Meg Morrison of Orland, Maine. Several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and many friends also survive her.
 Friends may call on Thursday, December 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15, at 10 a.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave., Gloversville, N.Y., 12078 or the Alzheimer's Association, 85 Watervliet Ave., Albany, N.Y. 12206-2083.

Pittsfield, MA - Mr. George Melvin Richards Jr., ( 30y ) d: September 19, 1950 - a former resident of Pittsfield and a veteran of World War II, died last night at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy, N.Y., after a week's illness.  A native of Pittsfield, he was born Nov. 12, 1919 and was educated in the local schools.  In World War II he served in the South Pacific as a member of the 6th Marine Division and since 1947 had lived in Troy.  His home was at 1759th Street.  He was employed by Republic Steel.  Mr. Richards was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Marine Corps Legue.  Survivors are his widow, the former Helen M. Phillips; four sons, Robert, James, Thomas and Donald, and one daughter, Sharon; also his parents; two brothers, Donald and Louis of Pittsfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Paul Lewis of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Paul Whitcomb of Northfield, Vt.
