Funeral services for Paul C. Scherer, 82, of Rosenberg, were to be held 5 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church of Rosenberg, with the Rev. Don Meadors officiating. Burial was to be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Scherer died June 3 at his home.
Survivors include a son, Paul Scherer of Richmond; a daughter, Jean Sypert of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Paula Ries of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; five grandchildren; one great-grandson.BURIAL:

Herald Coaster, June 29, 1982:Funeral services for Mildred Louise Scherer, 72, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Rosenberg, with Rev. Don Meadow and T. Walter Moore officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Scherer died Monday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rosenberg.
She is survived by her husband, Paul C. Scherer of Rosenberg; one son, Paul Scherer of Richmond; one daughter, Jean C. Sypert of Houston; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
