 Jim L Ennis, 77, of Indianapolis passed on to join the Great Architect of the Universe on March 16, 2016. He leaves behind his wife of 49-1/2 years, Judy; daughter, Julie; son, Barry (Jessica); and granddaughters, Krista, Charleigh, and Annalee. He is preceded in death by father, James M.; mother, Anna Lee; and brother, John W. He was an US Navy veteran and avid photographer. He was also active in his communities at First Christian Church of Beech Grove; Prospect Masonic Lodge #724; and Mobile Noble Shiners. His quiet manner and rare smile will be missed.
 A memorial gathering will be held at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 5-7pm with a Celebration of Life service starting at 7:15pm.

Judy Ennis, (nee Case), 73, of Indianapolis passed away on May 18, 2019 with her family at her hospital bedside. Her living family includes daughter, Julie; son, Barry (Jessica); and granddaughters, Krista, Charleigh, and Annalee. She was preceded in death by husband Jim; father and mother, Conard and Ellen Case; and sister, Susan Jo Giese. Judy was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis including Beech Grove and Greenwood. She was a 1967 BSN graduate of the IU School of Nursing, a Registered Nurse, Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, and Certified Case Manager. She worked as a registered nurse for more than four decades in hospital settings as well as a rehabilitation nurse for insurance providers. After her retirement, she enjoyed travelling and spending lots of time with her grandchildren. She was an active member of the First Christian Church of Beech Grove for a long time. The family will greet friends at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 5-7:30 pm with a Celebration of Life service starting at 7:45 pm, with Pastor Paul Hartig officiating.  Huntingburg - Albert J. Aufderhar, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper of congestive heart failure.
 He was a graduate of Lockyear Business College in Evansville.
 He worked at the Evansville Shipyards during World War II and retired from Sears in Evansville after 30 years.
 He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Hungtingburg, where he had served as president of the church council.
 Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Dorothy (Heim) Aufderhar; three daughters, Jan Weyer of Jasper and Joyce Eastwood and Sara Loechelt, both of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; two sons, Steve of Atlanta, Ga., and John of Madison, Ala.,; nine grandchildren, Merry and Betsy Aufderhar, Jimmy and Jill Harris, Ashley Eastwood and Carly, Zachary, Sean and Jessica Loechelt; five stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
 Services will be at 11 a.m. EST Monday at Salem United Church of Christ, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.

 Dorothy M. Aufderhar, 95, formerly of Huntingburg, died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
 She was born in Huntingburg on April 9, 1920, to Walter and Adelia (Frick) Heim. She married Albert J. Aufderhar on July 28, 1940, in Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg. He died Dec. 20, 2001.
 Surviving are two sons, Steve Aufderhar of Ball Ground, Ga., and John Aufderhar and wife Linda of Madison, Ala.; three daughters, Jan Weyer and husband John and Joyce Eastwood, both of Jasper, and Sara Aufderhar of Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Wilma Barnhart and husband Bill of Tell City; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by a brother, Don Heim; two sisters, Mildred Springston and Evelyn Meyerholtz; a son-in-law, Terry Eastwood; and a grandson.
 Mrs. Aufderhar graduated from Huntingburg High School in 1938 and worked as a school secretary at Southridge High School in Huntingburg. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women, the Huntingburg Research Club, the Dubois County Extension Homemakers and Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg, where she was past president of the Women's Guild and chairwoman of its 150th Anniversary Committee. In 1993, the 19th General Synod of the United Church of Christ presented her the award for Outstanding Lay Woman of the Indiana-Kentucky Conference of Churches. She enjoyed bird watching, researching genealogy and reading.
 The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. The Rev. Mark West will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.
 Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
